Coaches

The role of the coach is to assist players in developing to their true potential both individually and as a team. The coach is responsible for training players by analysing their performances, instructing in relevant football skills and by providing encouragement.

Narangba Eagles FC wants to help our coaches along their journey. Keep an eye on the NEFC Coaches & Managers Forum on Facebook (see coaching resources below) for training and education sessions.

Coach & Manager Kickbacks

As a thank-you for Coaching a team, you will be entitled to a $100 kickback which we can pay directly into your bank account or you may choose to roll this over into next season's fees.

Please note: 1 x Manager kickback and 1 x Coach kickback per team.

Coaches of all teams at Narangba Eagles FC will require a blue card and these details are recorded with the club and Football Queensland. If you do not have one, they are very simple to apply for and they're free. Please click HERE.

As coach, you are responsible for:

  • - Player and team development 
  • - Planning and executing training - with a focus on football skills over fitness
  • - Picking the team
  • - Selecting a player of the match 
  • - Actively participating in the NEFC - Coaches & Manager Facebook Forum

Our Technical Team will provide training session plans and as much support and advice as you need.

JOSH HUGHES - DIRECTOR OF COACHING (YOUTH) 

Josh will take a lead role in the Technical Team in 2026 bringing with him 12 years of coaching experience across all junior and youth age groups. Josh currently holds an FA/AFC ‘C’ Diploma and is working towards his ‘B’ Diploma.







daniel mangano
DANIEL MANGANO - DIRECTOR OF COACHING (BOYS) 
Daniel is no stranger to these parts having first played for the Club in 1994 and then for 12 consecutive years following. The son of former Club President, Helen, Daniel returned ‘home’ in 2021 - playing for (and coaching within) our Men’s First and Reserve Teams. He has many years of junior coaching experience under his belt and is currently undertaking his FA/AFC ‘C’ Diploma. Daniel will focus on the development of our Junior Boys/Mixed teams.





paolo boni
PAOLO BONI - DIRECTOR OF COACHING (GIRLS)
Paolo has been playing for the Club since 2022 and has coached various age groups at Junior level. He is part-way through obtaining his FA/AFC ‘C’ Diploma and will be working very closely with our Girls teams and their coaches in 2026.
