Sesame Lane Little Eagles Program (U3-U5)

Our Sesame Lane Little Eagles Program features 8 x 45 minute sessions beginning in early June. There are four sessions in Term 2 and four sessions in Term 3:

Catch Up Weekend: Due to the washed-out session in mid June, the eighth and final Little Eagles session will be held on Saturday 15th August.

All sessions are held on Saturday mornings at our home ground at Harris Avenue, Narangba. Sessions are not held on any school or public holidays. 

The program is a fun based activity - not competitively team based. Therefore, you won't be letting anyone down if you miss a session! This program has been created to develop the football skills of 3 - 5 year old children; boys and girls.

The program enhances the opportunities for young children to receive quality, consistent coaching. The hope is that in acquiring basic skills, participating children will not only learn correct technique but will also develop a love of the "world game". The program promotes football-based exercise and activity for younger children who are not able to be registered to play in a team environment (from 6+). 

The program is not a "technical coaching" program, but a tempered introduction to the great sport of football. The very basics of the game are introduced and experienced by the participants through different drills, practices and games. 

Elite players are not the ultimate outcome, rather the development of the individual participant's gross motor skills in conjunction with them becoming physically active. Running, stopping, ball control, jumping, turning, balance, agility, movement and general co-ordination are all skills to be acquired and improve.
