Managers

The main role of a team manager is to assist the coach on game days and ensuring that all parents are made aware of fixtures, times and game locations. Team managers are also reponsible for distributing the playing kits at the start of the season...and collecting them at the end of the season.

Narangba Eagles FC is committed to assisting all team managers throughout the season. Please ensure you're a member of our Coaches & Managers Forum on Facebook (see resources below).

Coaches and managers of all teams at Narangba Eagles FC will require a blue card. These details are recorded when you register with us and Football Queensland. If you do not have a Blue Card, please click HERE to apply for one. It's very simply and they're free!

Coach & Manager Kickbacks

As a thank-you for Managing a team, you will be entitled to a kickback which we can pay directly into your bank account or you may choose to roll this over into next season's fees.


U6 - U12 teams: $50
U13 - Senior teams: $100

Please note: 1 x Manager kickback and 1 x Coach kickback per team.

Responsibilities

  • Communication (keep parents / players informed of all team activities and Club news)
  • Actively participate in the Narangba Eagles - Coaches & Manager Forum
  • Ensuring players and caregivers adhere to the Code of Conduct
  • Escalation (escalation point for all team matters requiring the attention of the Club Committee) 
  • Coordinate Team allocated volunteer responsibilities (e.g. rostered club responsibilities)
  • Team Building (organising team building activities / ice breakers for players and parents)
  • Organising pre-season friendlies with other clubs
  • Team parent activities (weekly fruit rosters, net setup / takedown, washing of jerseys etc.)
  • Reporting / record keeping (keeping track of game stats and recording them as needed)
  • Time keeping during games 
  • Organising end of season team celebrations
